The FS24X Plus is the newest member of Honeywell’s FSX

series of advanced, multi-spectrum, electro-optical flame

detectors, providing high performance in challenging conditions.

The Honeywell FS24X Plus uses our WideBand IR™ infrared

technology to quickly and reliably detect hydrocarbon and

hydrogen fires — before they grow — even in the presence

of environmental inhibitors like rain, fog, and smoke.

Comprehensive coverage

Long-range, wide-angle sensors

detect fires at 200 ft (60m)

for 1 ft2 [0.1 m2) n-Heptane.

Reduced nuisance alarms

Advanced algorithms minimize false

alarms by differentiating fires from

other heat sources. The Honeywell

FS24X Plus maintains sensitivity

to hydrocarbon and hydrogen fires

while ignoring noise sources.

High-visibility Halo ring

Illuminates green, yellow or red making

it easy to see status at a distance. Easily

determine whether the detector is in

normal, fault or alarm condition —

from up to 50 ft (15m) away, even

in bright outdoor environments.

Versatile mounting options

Sunshade and mount included.

Choose from either the standard or

marine version mount. The Honeywell

FS24X Plus can be installed on flat

surfaces or pipes, either horizontal or

vertical. Quickly and easily position

the detector in optimal locations.

Reliable performance in

extreme conditions

The Honeywell FS24X Plus will operate

effectively in temperatures from

-55º C to +75º C (-67º F to +167º F).
